An architect with degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Harvard University, Mr. Belcher has 12 years experience. He has spent the last several years instructing new architects, as well as demonstrating his skills in a variety of exhibitions worldwide. His most recent experience has been as the Assistant Dean for the School of Architecture at Florida State University. Mr. Belcher is also currently an Associate Professor in the school's Design Studio.

Little Haiti Housing Competition
Organizer and Management of architectural design competition and exhibition for the development of infill single unit housing in the Little Haiti Neighborhood of Miami city.

ADRAC Board, Architectural Design Review Board For Miami-Dade County Housing Authority
Assist in the development community and approve design proposals for moderate and low income housing in Miami-Dade Housing.

Allapatha Community Park Shelter Development

Little Haiti Housing Competition
Organizer and Management of architectural design competition and exhibition for the development of infill single unit housing in the Little Haiti Neighborhood of Miami city.

The Korean Museum of Art, Los Angeles, California.
An International competition for a museum to house cultural artifacts related to the Korean Community in Los Angeles, California and beyond.

The Atlanta Olympics Public Spaces Competition
Awarded an Honorable Mention. A competition for public amenities and urban spaces created in association with the 1996 Olympics.

The African Burial Ground Competition
National competition for a memorial of a newly recovered Sixteenth Century African Burial Ground on the site of the Manhattan Federal Reserve Center.

The Spreebogen International Competition
Selected for exhibition (with Chris Diehl).

International Competition for Urban Design
Proposals for the reconstructed center of a reunified Germany. This project examines the complexity of reinserting the structure of power in the traditional capitol of Berlin. The resulting scheme addressed both the need to illustrated a strong state and proper role of historical urban fabric.

AIDS Life Center Competition, San Francisco, CA
Selected entry to tour with Exhibition of winners. Competition for an Aids Life Community Center and the construction of a permanent home for the Aids Life Quilt (with Craig Scott).

Berkeley Free Speech Movement Competition
Finalist, Prize Winner. International Competition for a monument to the Free Speech Movement at University of California, Berkeley. The proposal was to literally score the ground in reference to the period of turmoil brought about by the conflicts within the university community over free speech.

AIDS-Life Center Competition Exhibition
Fort Mason Art Center-Summer 1990 Aids life center Competition -San Francisco, California. This exhibition was organized to travel with the Aids Quilt. The Exhibition travelled to various locations. The building is understood as a phoenix rising out of the unfortunate devastation of community brought by AIDS. The quilt is hung vertically, washed by light and represents the symbol of hope.
